The terms that govern use of Nimvella and the privacy practices for its local-first iPhone app.

Nimvella is a free, local-first productivity app owned and developed by MaffeiTech Information Technology L.L.C., Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. These Terms and Privacy Policy explain how the app works and how your information is handled.
Nimvella does not require an account, login, password or authentication. There are no payments, subscriptions, advertising, analytics or developer-operated accounts in the app.
You may use Nimvella for your personal productivity, planning and note-taking. You are responsible for the content you create and for using the app in a lawful way.
Nimvella is not a medical, financial, legal, emergency or professional advice service. Do not use it as the only copy of information that is critical to your health, safety, work or finances.
You must not use Nimvella to store or manage information in a way that violates another person's rights, applicable law, or a confidentiality obligation you owe to someone else.
You keep ownership of the tasks, notes, events and other content you create in Nimvella. MaffeiTech does not receive ownership of that content and does not use it for advertising, analytics or product profiling.
The Nimvella app, name, design, code, graphics and related materials belong to MaffeiTech or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices that you own or control, subject to these terms and Apple's usage rules.
You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, sell or sublicense the app except where applicable law gives you a right that cannot be excluded.
Nimvella lets you create and store tasks, notes, calendar items, focus-session preferences, appearance preferences, haptics settings, notification settings and an optional display name. This information is stored in Nimvella's private app container on your device.
Nimvella does not send your app content to MaffeiTech or to a MaffeiTech-operated server. The app has no remote database, account service, advertising SDK, analytics SDK or tracking SDK.
If you enable reminders or focus-completion notifications, iOS processes the information needed to deliver those notifications. Apple may process notification-delivery information and an app-specific device token under Apple's own terms and privacy policy. Nimvella does not send that token to MaffeiTech or to a MaffeiTech-operated server.
If you use a Nimvella widget or an App Intent, the operating system may read the limited information needed to display the widget or complete the requested action. The widget and app use the local information available on your device.
Apple may separately process App Store, device-backup, diagnostic or operating-system data under Apple's terms and privacy policy. Those practices are controlled by Apple, not MaffeiTech.
Nimvella requests notification permission only when you choose to use reminders or notification sounds. You can change or withdraw that permission at any time in Nimvella or iOS Settings.
The current app does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, precise location, health data or advertising identifier.
Your content remains in Nimvella's private app container until you delete it, use Delete All Content or Delete Everything & Start Over in the app's Data & Privacy settings, or remove Nimvella from your device.
Because Nimvella is local-first, MaffeiTech cannot restore content that you delete or that is lost when the app or device is removed. Your Apple device-backup settings may maintain separate copies according to Apple's systems and settings.
Nimvella uses the device's private app container and iOS data-protection features for local storage. No method of storage is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your device protected and using Apple's backup and device-security features appropriately.
Nimvella does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user. Since the app does not require an account and does not send app content to MaffeiTech, there is no developer-operated profile for a child user.
Nimvella is provided free of charge and on an “as available” basis. We work to keep it useful and reliable, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available on every Apple device or future operating-system version.
To the extent permitted by law, MaffeiTech is not responsible for loss of data caused by device failure, deletion, loss of access to a device, operating-system behavior, or a failure to maintain a backup. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
We may update Nimvella or these Terms and Privacy Policy when the app, its legal requirements or its data practices change. The effective date shown on this page identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how Nimvella handles data, the policy and relevant App Store privacy disclosures will be updated before the changed practice is released.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, except where mandatory consumer-protection law says otherwise. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue directly.
